Release notes

Changelog

Every Admiral release, newest first. The current desktop release is 0.3.30. Desktop builds reach testers through the in-app updater. The iPhone app ships through TestFlight.

0.3.30

  • macOS
  • Windows
  • Linux

New

  • Images on the rail: a library of the images that agents generate on this device, with filters for project, session, and agent.
  • Linux installs update inside the app, and every release now includes Linux.
  • A chat can add an automation, but it saves as Inactive. Only you turn it on.
  • Fixed session limits are gone. New sessions wait only while the host is short on memory.

Fixed

  • On macOS, the Claude login reads and writes the Keychain first.
  • The status bar says why a usage chip has no numbers.
  • The Linux installer no longer reports present libraries as missing.
  • Closing a chat keeps the report that a follow-up replaced.

0.3.29

  • macOS
  • Windows
  • Linux

Home routing, approval rules, change history, and project memory.

New

  • Home has one composer for all your projects. It routes a request to the right project, starts sessions for the work, and shows their reports.
  • Home shows the sessions that need you, recent reports, and Talk to Admiral.
  • Approval rules ask before common Send, Delete, Pay, Publish, and outside-project file actions. Ordinary coding does not ask.
  • Change history for jobs, with Undo and file Restore.
  • Editable memory for each project and for you, with limits on size.
  • Project settings hold the Job, Standing orders, aliases, and the default agent and model.
  • Sessions and Projects are separate rail destinations.
  • Admiral Workflows in Extensions, and plugin details you can inspect before install.
  • Worktrees take the session callsign and the task in their name.
  • On macOS, a double press of Shift is the only talk gesture.

Fixed

  • Stop answers at once, before the engine finishes the cancel.
  • On Windows, a second launch reuses the open window.

0.3.28

  • macOS
  • Windows
  • Linux

New

  • A section rail on the left edge picks Home, Sessions, Extensions, Automations, or Settings.
  • Home lists the sessions that wait for you and your recent work.
  • Extensions is a rail section with one card catalog for skills, plugins, and connectors.
  • Automations is a rail section.
  • Wider defaults: a 320 px sidebar and a 360 px right pane.

Fixed

  • A sleeping Android emulator display wakes before Admiral streams it.
  • On macOS, a file drag no longer blocks the window.
  • A stopped Claude turn ends without an error.
  • Sessions stay active while background work remains.

0.3.27

  • macOS

New

  • Host access defaults and per-session access controls in the Details drawer.

Fixed

  • A rate-limited usage check no longer blocks a chat.

0.3.26

  • macOS
  • Windows

  • Copy a quoted block from a transcript.

Fixed

  • CAPTCHA frames load in the macOS browser pane.
  • OpenCode steers stay pending during a long step, and a resume waits while a turn is busy.

0.3.25

  • macOS
  • Windows

New

Fixed

  • Windows updates recover after a failure and show what went wrong.

0.3.24

  • macOS

New

  • Talk to Admiral on macOS: a persistent Admiral seat with voice capture and spoken replies. A double press of Shift opens it.

  • The browser pane has a start page with search and a choice of search engine.
  • File paths in agent replies are links.
  • Drag a chat from the sidebar into the composer to reference it.
