Drive mobile simulators
Admiral can put a phone or tablet screen on your desktop, and it can hand that screen to the agent. The agent installs the app, taps through it, and reads the screen while it works. You watch the same picture.
iOS simulators
On a Mac with Apple silicon, Admiral lists your booted iOS Simulators and shows a live view of one in the desktop app.
- You can send taps, swipes, text, and button presses.
- The agent gets the same abilities through its tools, plus screenshots and the screen's accessibility tree.
Android emulators
On any desktop system, Admiral connects to Android emulators:
- Live view, input, and the UI tree, the same pattern as iOS.
- Physical Android devices are not supported yet.
What the agent sees
An agent that Admiral launches receives mobile tools automatically. Ask it directly:
Build is on the simulator. Install it, open the login screen, sign in with the test account, and tell me if the error state renders correctly.
The agent installs, drives the UI, and reports what it saw. Each tool use shows in the transcript like any other tool call.
Controls
- Off switch. Settings has a per-device switch for the injected
admiraltools, which include the mobile tools. Turn it off when the agent should keep its hands off the simulators. - Remote view only. Another desktop can watch a host's simulator view, but remote input is refused. Only the host machine sends taps and text.
- Rate. The remote simulator view streams at up to 10 frames per second. It is a check-it view, not a game stream.
Next steps
- Run child agents: the same injection mechanism.
- Settings pages: the injection switch.
